Fostering Rural Education
Every child deserves quality education irrespective of their socioeconomic status. Tengin supports government schools in Arsikere with access to educational programs and resources — recently donating notebooks, pencils, erasers, and rulers to Kargunda's government school, helping students fully engage in their learning.
Looking ahead, we're planning English language courses led by experts, field trips to science centers and museums, and professional-led workshops to open up new opportunities for young minds.
Breaking Barriers & Building Skills
Women in villages face real barriers to education — poverty, gender stereotypes, and household responsibilities, among others. Working closely with local Stri Shakti Sanghas and NGOs, we're helping create real economic opportunity for women in our communities, through initiatives like literacy and numeracy training that build independence. We also partner with NGOs on women's health initiatives, including menstrual health awareness programs — helping rural women overcome today's challenges and build a brighter future for all.
