Description

This is a simple dry chutney podi made from moringa leaves, the same drumstick leaves many of us have grown up eating at home. The taste is nutty and a little spicy, and it sits perfectly with hot rice or your usual breakfast, like idli and dosa.

Mix this moringa chutney powder with a spoon of ghee or coconut oil, and it turns into that proper comfort side that makes the whole meal feel better.

How To Use?

For Idli/Dosa:
• Sprinkle a generous amount of chutney powder on top of your hot idli or dosa.
• Add a little ghee or oil for extra flavor and enjoy!

For Upma:
• Mix 1-2 teaspoons of chutney powder into your cooked upma.
• Stir well and serve hot.

For Akki Rotti/Chapathi/Paratha:
• Sprinkle chutney powder on the rotti or paratha before serving.
• Pair with a dollop of ghee or curd for a complete meal.

For Rice:
• Add 1-2 teaspoons of chutney powder to your hot rice and mix well.
• Top with ghee for a rich, flavorful taste.

For Curd Rice:
• Sprinkle chutney powder over your curd rice and stir for a tasty, tangy twist.

Storage Instruction

• After opening, move the podi into an airtight dabba. It stays fresh longer and will not turn damp.

• If your kitchen gets hot or humid, you can keep it in the fridge. Totally optional, but it helps it stay nice for longer.

• Always close the lid properly and use a dry spoon. Moisture makes the powder clump, and the flavor goes flat.
